If you have tween kids, you may have been subjected to Fred Figglehorn at some point in your life...If not, he's a character played by a kid from Nebraska who started out with little video clips on YouTube, and now he's, like, famous!! Check him out at www.fredfigglehorn.com, or the real kid's YouTube channel: Lucas Cruikshank. He's kind of funny, if you can get past Fred's high-pitched squeal. He has some music videos too, like one about Christmas being Creepy...really cute. Love it. Here's the link to his YouTube channel.
My older son is wondering why I have looked all this stuff up. I said I just wanted to know more about this kid who has become a "cyber celebrity." And, truth be told, I want to make sure there's nothing slimy that Connor might stumble across if he searches for Fred stuff. (Not that he isn't coming home from middle school sharing all the knowledge regarding subject matter he is WAY too young to be confronted with--jeez)

Oh, and one more: Masterpiece Mystery on PBS! Inspector Lewis... love to watch these online. Caught a snippet of one episode one evening, but had to miss a great deal of it to put little one to bed. Very good mystery.
Okay, I'm done ranting about television. Next time I really plan to blog about my reading habits! Middle school reading!

The Big Bang Theory is hilarious. Sheldon rules!!! I look forward to seeing what you blog about in the middle school reading realm. Sometimes it's fun for an adult to kick back with a kid's book!
